Northline Speedway is the Northern Territory’s premier dirt track racing destination, nestled within the expansive Hidden Valley Motorsports Complex just outside of Darwin. Known for its fast-paced action and unique tropical atmosphere, the venue features a well-maintained clay oval that attracts top-tier talent from across Australia and overseas. Racing typically takes place during the Darwin "Dry Season," providing a perfect backdrop of warm nights and clear skies for high-octane entertainment. Over the years, the venue has built a reputation for hosting some of the most prestigious events in the country, most notably the "Chariots of Thunder" Sprintcar series. This multi-night spectacle transforms the speedway into a hub of international motorsport, drawing massive crowds and a world-class field of drivers. Beyond Sprintcars, the track frequently hosts Wingless Sprints, Speedcars, and various sedan classes, ensuring a diverse program for local fans and visitors alike. What truly sets Northline Speedway apart is its location within a broader motorsport hub, allowing fans to experience a variety of disciplines in one vicinity. The facility boasts excellent spectator viewing areas, including terraced seating and corporate boxes, which offer an immersive experience as cars thunder around the tight Darwin circuit. It remains a cornerstone of the NT sporting community, blending high-speed competition with a relaxed, family-friendly environment.

The venue is conveniently located within the Hidden Valley Motorsports Complex in Berrimah, approximately 10 kilometres from the Darwin CBD. To get there, drivers should follow Tiger Brennan Drive and exit onto Hidden Valley Road. Clear signage within the complex directs visitors toward the speedway section of the facility. Ample unsealed parking is available on-site for spectators, though it is recommended to arrive early during major events like Chariots of Thunder to secure a spot close to the gates. Accessible parking options are typically provided near the main entrance. For those not driving, rideshare services and taxis are common, though public transport options directly to the gate are limited.
