About Shell V-Power Motorsport Park

One of the World's Great Motorsport Venues, Right in South Australia's Backyard The Bend Motorsport Park is one of the most remarkable motorsport facilities on the planet — and it happens to be in regional South Australia. Stretching 7.77 km in its full GT Circuit configuration, it's the second-longest permanent racing circuit in the world, behind only the Nürburgring Nordschleife — a stat that still doesn't fully land until you're standing at pit lane looking down the straight. It's Australia's only circuit to comply with the latest FIA Grade 2 and FIM Category A standards simultaneously, which means it sits in genuine elite company globally, capable of hosting any series, any category, any time. Circuit Configurations One of the things that makes The Bend genuinely unique is its flexibility. The challenging 7.77 km GT Circuit is suited to endurance racing and drive experiences, while the 4.95 km International Circuit forms the backbone for major national events including Supercars, Superbikes, and national series racing. The 3.41 km West Circuit handles the bulk of club days, testing, and driver training, and the 3.93 km East Circuit can be run independently. More Than a Race Track The Bend is unique in having every motorsport discipline through the one gate — circuit racing for cars and motorcycles, an international Group 1 Dragway, Australia's only purpose-built drift circuit, a karting circuit, a rallycross circuit, driver training facilities, a 4WD adventure park, and a rally/off-road facility. For spectators and visitors, the on-site experience is just as well considered. The Welcome Centre features an automotive gallery and the Apex Bar x Dining overlooking pit lane, while accommodation options range from the 100-room Rydges Pit Lane Hotel to the BIG4 Holiday Park with camping and cabins.

Getting There

The Bend sits on the Dukes Highway at Tailem Bend, roughly an hour's drive from Adelaide along the South Eastern Freeway. For interstate visitors, it's accessible from both the Mallee and Dukes Highways for those travelling from Melbourne or Sydney.
